In conclusion, the Hollywood Blacklist was a list consisting of film workers who were accused of being Communists. These workers were unable to work in the industry. The HUAC testified many people throughout the 1950s. The Hollywood Ten, ten screenwriters and directors, accused the committee of violating their rights, but, as a result, they were blacklisted. The blacklist eventually died down in the 60s, but it still impacted the lives of many individuals in the film industry.
